7 FOLLIES, 2019, ARTOTHEK- RAUM FÜR JUNGE KUNST, COLOGNE

In the expansive installation individual sculptures and materials unfold like a parcours into an overall picture that raises questions about the stability of the material and virtual world and encircles our location in it. The construction extends like a production line through the exhibition space with a structure of grids, textile forms and ceramics. The installation accumulates small sculptures of various materials and techniques that create a cycle. Interactions and fusions between natural and technological cycles are suggested, as also connotations for data storage and transmission to the body. At the same time, anthropomorphic beings lie exhausted on their backs, with burst, torn bellies.
